The Positive Behaviour Program

The Positive Behaviour Program was introduced across all year levels in 2013. It comprises of a number of different activities aimed at addressing current behavioural and social activities adapted to specific year levels. The Positive Behaviour Program is delivered through the Home Group structure which is based on classes but is flexible enough for whole year levels to come together depending on what issue is being targeted. It operates twice a term and as an example, students have looked at cyber safety, mobile phone policy, study habits and protective behaviours to name a few.

The benefits of the program for staff is that it is current and topical for students, it builds bridges between staff and students and it provides direct access for welfare staff with all students.
